Biography
As a childhood fan of such artists as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Elvis Presley, Carlo can recall going to family events and performing at a young age. "I can recall going to family events when I was young, all my relatives would force me into performing a song or two as I was extremely shy". Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Carlo's inspiration came by way of his father George. "My dad was a performer, he used to travel around to different local restaurants and perform. He always brought me along so I consider myself extremely lucky to have had that type of exposure at such a young age."
At the age of 20, Carlo turned his focus to entertaining as a professional MC/DJ catering to thousands of clients per year. "Without having this type of experience, I do not think I would be performing today. Being an MC/DJ has really trained me to interact with different types of people, it is something that I still love to do." Carlo's concept of offering both professional MC/DJ services along with his live "Tributes" dinner show has really changed the way clients look at booking entertainment today.
Carlo is a unique, versatile entertainer who is passionate about his Tributes show. "I have really tried to make my show unique. There are a lot of performers out there who focus on one style of artist however in my experience, people want variety. This is why I have chosen to incorporate artists like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley & Michael Buble' just to mention a few. I have also included both Spanish and Italian songs/vocals into my show as there is a large demand for this within the greater Toronto area."
